Animal Disaster Services is always looking for dedicated volunteers.
Volunteers are expected to attend regular meetings, trainings, and events. Shelter duties may include set up and take down of shelter equipment and supplies, completion of paperwork, cleaning, feeding, dog walking, and playtime.
Volunteers are expected to provide a calm and safe environment for each other and the animals in our care.
Our volunteers make this all possible! Volunteers donated a combined 785.7 hours in 2022.
General volunteer monthly meetings are held the third Saturday of each month with the exception of holidays, winter months, and special occasions. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you are more than welcome to attend a monthly meeting. Please see the Events page for our next meeting date. For more information, please contact Lisa Bird at LisaBird.ADS@gmail.com.
All donations and contributions cover operational and shelter costs. No volunteers receive compensation. A.D.S. has no paid employees.
